The company was initially formed utilising the knowledge and experience of two noise control engineers, Michael Mason and Graham Shelley-Jones.

As the company grew, so did our capabilities necessitating a move to a larger factory at Revesby to focus on noise control. In the early 90's, Michael Mason's son expressed a desire to work in the company after Graham Shelley-Jones left to pursue other interests. Robert Mason completed his trade apprenticeship at Peace Engineering and today is a pivotal part of the company.

Our more significant recent projects have included:
- RAAF jet test cell, Williamtown
- Helicopter test cell, Bankstown Airport
- AGL gas compressor enclosures
- Foxtel studio doors for sound stages
- Sydney Theatre Company stage doors
- Mobile broadcast trucks
- Kimberly Clark nappy production line
- Caterpillar earthmover test cell, Burnie

Beyond the more industrial applications, we've taken on many smaller and more diverse applications to satisfy new challenges including auditorium doors acoustic, louvres, and acoustic panels for theatres and restaurants.

Peace Engineering's ability to adapt to constant change has given the company the strength and flexibility to survive in today's competitive and constantly changing business environment. Quality control is a key reason as we manage the entire project from design and fabrication, to installation and testing.

After nearly 30 years at Revesby the decision was made to move to a modern facility at Smeaton Grange near Camden in Sydney 's South West.

Michael Mason began reducing his involvement in the company in the mid 2000's. During this time, Robert became more actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business. Robert Mason is now the General Manager, while Michael eventually retired in 2009.

Peace Engineering continues to adapt to an ever changing market and is looking forward with confidence to the next 40 years.
